Bio-Agrar award for NATURATA Bio-Resto & Café

Many clients know and appreciate the varying offer of the NATURATA organic restaurant in Munsbach and the NATURATA Bistros. In 2018, the company received the Luxemburgish award for organic agriculture (Bio-Agrar-Präis).

By now, it is already a tradition that the minister for agriculture, viticulture and consumer protection hands over the yearly conferred price in the presence of many guests at the Foire Agricole in Ettelbrück. The award honors organisation, companies and people that are actively engaged in the support of organic agriculture for ten years now. The theme of the evening was the search for innovative projects or exemplary performances of the use of Luxembourgish organic products in the out-of-home market. Gastronomy companies, establishments of communal catering (Maison Relais, work, hospital, retirement home) as well as Catering Service providers were allowed to apply.

The winner in the gastronomy division: the NATURATA Bio-Resto & Café in Munsbach with its store bistros in Esch/Belval, Merl and Meyers-Haff (Windhof). At the ceremony, the minister of agriculture praised especially the concept of NATURATA to offer a vast range of organically certified meals and drinks for immediate consumption or for take-away (f.ex. in the Ecobox) besides the regular offer of 100% organic food products.

The CEO of NATURATA, Sigmund Walbaum accepted the award and thanked all the employees for their daily effort.
